Dear MFCA Family,
The MFCA Executive Board will hold a town hall meeting on April 10th at 7pm to discuss outcomes and impressions from The PhD Project March All DSA Conference. After attending the meeting, we realized that our membership may not be up to date on the changes made last year with respect to DSAs or strategies resulting from current political scrutiny. To ensure we are as informed as possible, Jerome and Darryl will brief us.
Please know that MFCA’s support for The PhD Project is unwavering. As a result of our continued support, the MDSA has identified 21 doctoral students who are seeking mentors. If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please provide your name and other expertise information here by April 23. After completing the spreadsheet, we will match you with a mentee based on commonalities and notify you of expectations for the relationship.
As we begin to wind down the Spring 2025 semester, we hope that you plan to join us in Montego Bay, Jamaica for our MFCA 2025 Conference. Montressa (conference chairperson) will be on hand at the town hall to answer any questions you have about the conference. We are excited to share research and respite with you. Please, join us.
