(Forwarded information from the University of Texas at Arlington)

In response to racial inequity and injustice, we have 15 new faculty job openings at the University of Texas at Arlington. Arlington is a thriving city, between Dallas and Fort Worth. DFW has an international airport, numerous Fortune 500 corporations, diverse neighborhoods, reasonable cost of living, and strong school districts. UTA is a highly diverse, Hispanic-serving institution, and the opportunity to impact the lives of under-represented minority students is wonderful. These positions are across colleges, including Business, Liberal Arts, Science, Education and others, so please share with your networks and dual-career couples.

The management department has assistant, associate, and full professors doing diversity research and the college and university support this kind of scholarship.

Diversity, Racial Equity, and Inclusion Group Scholars

One of UTA's goals in this search is to attract historically underrepresented faculty, including underrepresented minority faculty in general and women faculty in STEM fields. Increasing the representation of faculty members who understand, and have overcome, race, gender-based, and ability barriers and biases is vital to the success and well-being of our students. Diversity is critical to academic excellence. As research demonstrates, diverse teams are more innovative, productive, and solve complex problems faster. UTA is committed to preparing all students to live and work in an increasingly global, diverse, and interconnected world by exposing them to a wide array of ideas, experiences, cultures, and individuals.
